How We Started

 The Garden House was built in 1927

Designed with a Disneyesque flair, a popular concept at the time.

Bexx and her Husband have lived at the Property since 1999, and have developed the Garden over the Years.

After hosting many Dinner Parties with our Friends, Bexx decided to open up the Garden to the Public, while keeping the sanctuary very Private.

After 7 years, Bexx Secret Garden has a consistent 5 star Yelp rating.

The Story

Cooking, cake creation, gardening, entertaining, all things "event design", and creating themes are the Story of Bexx. The Secret Garden (which was originally dubbed "The Cantina" by friends that loved to hang out in the garden and enjoy Bexx & Terry's hospitality, the beautiful garden, and the scrumptious cuisines Bexx created.'

During the 2000's Bexx & Terry were performing music throughout the Los Angeles area During this time Bexx heard of a new dining trend that was taking off throughout the US and the World. People were hosting & creating little pop-up restaurants in their homes,  creating unique and special menus for their friends. This trend was called Underground Supper Clubs. Since friends and fans were always asking when and where Bexx & Terry would be performing next. Friends and family loved to enjoy the garden and Bexx's creative cuisine, Bexx decided to start her own supper club called Bexx Secret Garden Supper Club.

Dubbed the "Secret Garden" because people were always surprised once they entered the gate into her garden. To this day people are always amazed at the magical garden that awaits inside the garden gates.

The concept was to create a special theme with a special menu, then perform for her guests. After

some time, several guests suggested she open her beautiful garden to the public. That was 7 years and over 200 events ago.

The Host & Chef

Sometimes referred to as the Sassy Martha Stewart and the Energizer Bunny, she is a warm & inviting creative Spirit and ultimate entertainer. The "Diva" to her friends.

Being a "Creative Spirit", it's in Bexx's DNA to create, with a natural set of talents including creative cuisine, event planning, décor design, gardening among many others. She comes from a long line of family that are avid gardeners. Her father in his 80's still plants and harvests a large garden then cans and preserves everything rom his garden every year. Her grandparents on her mothers side always had a garden as well as her family growing up. Her father also owned several restaurants that Bexx worked at as a child and young adult.

Bexx's Mother was a schoolteacher who also entertained family and friends several nights a week, so ease in the kitchen and throwing together a party has always come naturally to her.

Holidays and celebrations were always centered around food. Bexx has always been at ease creating in the kitchen and outside of the kitchen making sure everyone is welcome in her home. She brings all her warmth and talents to every event she creates for her clients and friends alike).

The Music

Bexx is a lyricist and professional Singer. She was accepted to study with Judy Davis as a vocalist. Judy Davis was Barbara Streisand's vocal Coach along with other notable singers. Bexx has fronted many bands including in Las Vegas and performed throughout he US and Canada over the years.

Terry Crosby

The Engineer

Terry is a mechanical engineer by trade having owned and run the second largest mechanical engineering company in Orange County in the 1980's. After retiring from Engineering he leased the local Channel 6 in Lake Tahoe where he met 2 of the founders of Oracle (See the "Producer")

The Producer

Terry has always been a renaissance man, having been into computers, cinematography and Photography as an early adopter. After retiring from Engineering he leased the local Channel in Lake Tahoe where he met 2 of the founders of Oracle, (second only to Microsoft). As CEO and cofounder, Terry later funded the first multi-million dollar All-Digital TV Network showcasing Computers and the Internet in the 90's, even launching a dedicated satellite transponder from Cape Canaveral.

Terry and Bexx also own Univaya Inc. the mother company of BSG where Terry produces engineering cinematic videos for companies including animation. In the garden, he is in charge of all of the audio and video setup and production as well as the design and engineering of the space and all other technical aspects that go into creating an event.

The Music

Terry has been in several famous bands from the 60's & 70's, most notably, Neil Young and the Squires, with Bachman Turner Overdrive, and The Guess Who substitutes. Also, on stage with Herbie Hancock, as a 15 min guest on his Rocket tour.
