About Bexx & Her Secret Garden
This blog is where I tell the truth about what goes into a beautiful celebration — the real time, the real cost, the real work behind every gorgeous image you've ever saved to a Pinterest board. Recipes, menus, event design, travel, restaurant and hotel reviews — everything that goes into creating something memorable, from someone who's built it firsthand for over 15 years.
Entertaining has always been in my DNA. Long before Bexx Secret Garden had a name, I was throwing themed parties for my own kids, testing new recipes in my kitchen, and welcoming guests into my garden who simply didn't want to leave.
I came from a background in professional singing, and for a while I helped run my husband's video production business. But after years of difficult clients, I came back to what actually lit me up — cooking, creating, performing, and gathering people together in a beautiful space.
That pull led me to start an underground supper club. I designed the menu, built the whole experience, and performed for my guests myself. People kept coming back. Then they started telling me to open the garden to the public. So, organically, Bexx Secret Garden was born.
For over 15 years now, I've planned, designed, and cooked my way through weddings, parties, and celebrations — every one of them, start to finish, under one roof, in one garden I planted with my own hands. I grow my own vegetables and tend to about 20 roses and 20 dahlias on the property, because to me, beauty and function have always belonged together.
Business hasn't fully bounced back since Covid, but I'm not sitting still. This blog is the next chapter — a place to share the recipes, the menus, the event tips, the travel and restaurant finds, and the honest stories nobody tells about what a celebration actually takes. If you've ever wondered what really goes on behind the beautiful photos, you're in the right place.
And if reading about it makes you want to see it in person — the garden's open for weddings and celebrations of 20 to 80 guests, and I'd love to show you around
