Welcome to my Bexx Secret Garden Blog
Bexx's Celebrations & Creative Cuisine

Welcome to my Secret Garden —
a little piece of paradise I've created, hidden in the concrete jungle of the NoHo Arts District in Los Angeles.
I've been creating recipes and entertaining, on and off the stage, for years. Long before this garden had a name, I was throwing themed parties for my kids, testing new recipes, and welcoming people into a space they never quite wanted to leave. That's the thread that runs through everything I do — cooking, creating, and gathering people together somewhere beautiful.
What this place is
Bexx Secret Garden is a boutique garden venue for intimate celebrations — weddings, milestone birthdays, showers, themed events, anywhere from 20 to 80 guests. What makes it different is simple: it's all me. The menu, the cakes, the dessert tables, the florals, the event design, the planning — all created in-house, under one roof, by one person who cares deeply about getting it right. No juggling vendors. No crossed wires. Just one creative set of hands from the first idea to the last goodbye.
And the garden itself is mine too, quite literally. I've planted every plant here with my own hands — including the vegetables I cook with and the roughly twenty roses and twenty dahlias I tend to on the property. Beauty and function, growing side by side.
What you'll find here
This blog is where I'll share the rest of it. Expect menu and recipe inspiration, plus real tips and tricks for creating an event that stays with people long after everyone's gone home.
I'll also get honest about the practical side — the part most people don't talk about. What events actually cost. How to plan and budget without losing your mind. The truths behind designing weddings and milestone celebrations: what to expect, what I've learned the hard way over fifteen years, and everything in between. And because life doesn't stop at the garden gate, I'll fold in gardening, travel, the odd restaurant and hotel review, and a little LA living along the way.
Come celebrate
That's the invitation. Whether you're planning something of your own, looking for inspiration, or you just love a beautiful table and a good story, I'm glad you're here.
Let's celebrate.
